About the pattern
This feminine top has a simple and summery look and can be worn alone on very hot summer days, or with a T-shirt underneath on slightly cooler days.
The top has elegant decreases along the neckline, and is knit from the bottom up, in stockinette st. The armhole and neckline are worked with different decreases, described in detail in the pattern. The straps are worked as an i-cord.

Fit (guide to understanding measurements and sizes)
Measure yourself before you choose the size you want to knit. The gauge is of 23 sts per 10 cm [4 in] when the piece lies flat, after washing and blocking. Because cotton can expand so much when in use, the gauge will also change when you are wearing the garment and can go up to 17 m per 10 cm [4 in] at its most stretched. I therefore recommend you knit a smaller size rather than a larger one. For example, if your bust size is of 92 cm [36¼ in], I would recommend that you choose a size S, which fits breast size 82-94 [32½ - 37¼ in], and not a larger size. This top is designed to have a slim, close to the body, fit.
Recommended needles
3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles, 60/80 cm [31½ - 47¼ in]
3 mm [US 3] circular needles 60 cm [31½ in] or double-pointed needles
Gauge
23 sts x 35 row = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) in Stocking st on 3.5 mm [US 4] needles
