The Design
j o v i a l mittens is a pattern for a pair of mittens with an elegant twist and fine, special details such as the pretty picot edges, smooth double-knit around the wrist and a discreet double-centered fold along the thumb.
At the same time, the pattern is created in such a way that you get to measure the best length for you along the way, so that the mittens sit exactly as they should on your hands.
This is also a great residual yarn project, and you won’t need much more than 50-125 g of yarn, depending on your chosen size.
